As we age, our skin loses elasticity, allowing frown and other expression lines to become deeply etched on our faces. Treatment with Botox® can smooth and relax the muscles that cause these deep lines and creases, fading away wrinkles and offering patients younger-looking skin.
Botox® is injected directly into the overactive facial muscles, relaxing the muscles for three to six months. This process smooths out lines and creases, and replaces that stern, tired or unhappy look with one that is youthful and vibrant.
patients will see the Botox® effect begin to fade as muscle action returns. When the frown lines start to reappear, a simple repeat treatment is all that is necessary to maintain the desired results. What’s more, subsequent treatments may provide more of the desired effect than previous treatments.
Between three to six months after receiving the injection,
Treatment with Botox® is fast, simple and minimally invasive, with no down time or recovery. Most people return to work or normal activity following treatment. Within days, they report looking and feeling more natural and relaxed.
